it can feel like it’s going by in a flash,
keeping up can be exhausting!!
It can feel that there’s so much pressure to do it all !!
And when we fall into this trap, our nervous system takes a big hit!!
You’ll walk away from this retreat day feeling

that you can implement into your life, to support your wellbeing..
This is a unique retreat..
This incredible day comprises of two workshop style sessions..
The morning session is an active session. With all poses and techniques being accessible for all levels.
The afternoon session is a restorative session. Again accessible to all levels.
As we will be learning about and working with the nervous system, we will be using a trauma based approach to all that we do, to maintain a safe and caring environment.
~You have the option of enjoying the full day, both the morning and afternoon sessions as well as the option of joining your fellow participants for a delicious lunch at Albert & Co cafe, between sessions..
~Or you could choose to do just one of the sessions, morning or afternoon only…
~The choice is yours, but if time allows, why not make the most of the day and share this amazing day retreat with beautiful like minded people, who enjoy learning about themselves, and discovering new ways to bring more ease and flow into their lives…
We begin with the morning session,
a 2 1/2 hour session.
We’ll enjoy a cuppa together while learning about the nervous system.
~What’s happening in the body and mind as we navigate this busy modern world ..
~How our Yoga practice can help support our nervous system..
~When and why it can be helpful to get moving with an active practice..
~Then we put this into practice, using Yoga asana, pranayama techniques, and meditation..
as well as valuable tools from other modalities that help to bring regulation to the nervous system..
The afternoon session, again,
2 1/2 hours of theory and practice,
In this session you’ll learn about the importance of restoration on the nervous system
~ You’ll learn which poses are more likely to bring about regulation to the nervous system
~ And which poses may trigger a sympathetic response from the nervous system
~ learn how to use your breath to regulate
~how to use visualization and somatic techniques
~and how to apply these techniques to create a more resilient nervous system
We’ll then explore and enjoy these beautiful restorative practices, including Pranayama, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra . Along with practices from other incredible modalities..
And we finish the day, sharing a cuppa, and discussing what we discovered, as a gentle transition back into the world…

This is a culmination of many years of learning and personal experience.
And it is my passion to share what I’ve learnt, to interested people, who care about their wellbeing, the choices they make in their life, and enjoy learning new ways of helping themselves toward living a life with an open mind and heart..
